What’s in the camera bag ?

The beast

The beast

Our first taste of Africa and photography was back in 2006 when we went to South Africa for a couple of weeks. We had a couple of days on Safari and had taken a new small camera. We were disappointed with our shots as most were blurred and just didn’t capture the wild life as we saw it.

The same thing happened on our next trip in 2008 to Namibia with the same camera. So we decided to buy our first DSLR (Canon D40) and this made a big difference !

Since then, we have upgraded the model a few times and added multiple accessories as we started to get interested in shooting video for our trips also.

The camera bag is now bigger than our normal clothes luggage so enough is enough and hopefully our equipment will now see us through the next decade !
